BE OUR GUEST

Want to visit or join us for a service? We welcome guests at any Shabbat service and at most events we hold throughout the year. Learn a little more about what you might consider/expect.

The oldest Jewish congregation in Kansas - Wichita’s Congregation Emanu-El was founded in 1885. Since inception, we have been the region’s home for Reform Judaism. Today, we are a growing, vibrant community of 100+ families practicing progressive, liberal Judaism in America’s Heartland. We have always been committed to welcoming all - regardless of background or affiliation - who are curious about, respectful of, and steeped in our faith to join us in exploring the Jewish concept of “Tikkun Olam” (Repairing the World). Visitors, guests, and new members alike will experience something exciting - individuals collaborating - by sharing their unique gifts, talents, and perspectives, and operating at their highest potential - to make a better tomorrow for our congregation, our community, and the world.
